What languages do you speak at Clínica Dental Raíces?
We speak English, Spanish, and Arabic. We also speak a bit of Catalan and even Irish (Gaeilge), so feel free to practice your "cúpla focal" with our Chief Experience Officer, Aidan!

Do you accept walk-in appointments?
We recommend booking an appointment in advance, but we do accommodate walk-ins when possible and emergency cases. If our Dentists are busy you can relax in our waiting area with a cup of coffee.

Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! We offer a free initial consultation where we will learn about your goals and explain how we help.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Financing payment plans are available for residents.

Am I a good candidate for dental implants?
If you have missing teeth and good oral health, you may be a candidate for dental implants. Book a free consultation for a personalized evaluation.

How long does a dental implant procedure take?
In some cases, immediate load implants can be done in a single visit. The full process can take 3-6 months, depending on healing time.

Do you offer sedation for anxious patients?
Yes! We offer conscious sedation options like oral sedatives, laughing gas, and IV sedation to help nervous patients feel relaxed during treatment. (In some rare cases we can book an anaesthesiologist but this is not common and would incur a fee for the anaesthesiologist and prior booking.)

What should I do if I have a dental emergency while on holiday in Tenerife?

How do I take care of my teeth after a dental implant?
- Maintain good oral hygiene with brushing & flossing
- Avoid smoking and excessive alcohol consumption
- Attend regular check-ups at Clínica Dental Raíces or a check up in your home country.

Is there a guarantee with a dental implants?
Yes! The implant manufacturer provides a guarantee, usually of 5 years, and will replace the implant if it fails due to a manufacturing issue and the patient has followed the after-care instructions.

How long does teeth whitening last?
Results can last 6 months to 2 years, depending on your diet and oral hygiene. Avoiding coffee, red wine, and smoking helps maintain results longer.
